It’s that time of year again!

Our annual rowing event is coming up, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring the community together for another epic challenge!  This event is always a special one, but this year, we’re making it  even more meaningful. A portion of the funds raised will go directly toward improving the gym—the place you all love and help make  better every day. To make sure we’re adding what matters most to  you, we’ll have a suggestion box on the bar top where you can write  down the piece of equipment you’d love to see in the gym. Every  entry will be collected and considered when the time comes. Keep an  eye on these weekly newsletters and upcoming announcements for all the details, and as always, feel free to ask a coach if you have any questions. Let’s row hard, have fun, and make this gym even better together!

Let’s talk about the almighty attendance kiosk—your first stop before getting sweaty! We’ve made it as easy as possible by giving you three locations to check in, so there are no excuses. Why is it important? Because accountability is the name of the game! The best thing we can do for each other is show up, stay consistent, and keep pushing one another—but we can’t do that if  we don’t know who’s making it to class. Plus, there’s a little bonus for those who stay committed! Every few months, we throw all the names of members who hit at least 12 classes per month into a raffle and give away some sweet prizes—so far, we’ve done jump ropes, protein, and even a pair of shoes. So do yourself (and your friends) a favor—tap that screen, check yourself in, and let’s keep the accountability train rolling!

At Mastodon, we’re all about making your hour in the gym the best hour of your daybut to do that, we have to start on time and keep things running smoothly. If you’re just a few minutes late, no big  deal! Warm up off to the side and slide into the next piece when you’re ready. But if you’re more than five minutes late, do us (and yourself) a favor—wait for the next class. This way, we can give you the coaching, attention, and experience you deserve without disrupting the flow for everyone else. We know life happens, but a little preparedness goes a long way in making sure every class runs at full speed. So set those alarms, plan ahead, and let’s make every workout count!

Running season is officially here, which means you’ll be seeing more open doors, feeling that fresh air, and yes—getting those legs moving! Afternoon classes? Not too bad. But those morning classes? Let’s just say you might question your life choices when that first gust of chilly air hits. So, do yourself a favor—bundle up, grab an extra layer, and be ready to shed it once you’re nice and toasty. Nothing worse than showing up in a tank top only to spend the warm-up looking like a frozen popsicle. Embrace the season, enjoy the fresh air, and get ready to crush some running workouts together!
